Adult Beginners / Improvers

We have added a regular club evening session dedicated to adult beginners, improvers and those returning to tennis after a long break, to help them improve their game. Our club tennis coach, Chris Hearn, will be on hand for any advice and hopefully these sessions will give you the chance to meet and play with other club members who also want the opportunity to practice and improve their game. These sessions will run every Wednesday evening from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. They are FREE to club members, will use 2 courts and include tennis balls and the use of floodlights if required. Due to the current Government restrictions and LTA Guidelines we have to limit the numbers of players to 8 (Including the session leader/s). Club members may book a place by using our new ‘Weekly Session Planner’ booking system. If you are not a club member but would be interested in any of this please contact us. Any questions please contact Roger on 07807 786532 or...

Rusty Rackets

As well as the usual Tuesday and Thursday Mix-In evening sessions, the club runs a ‘Rusty Rackets’ Mix-in session on a Thursday morning, and a general Mix-in session on a Friday morning. Both starting at 9:30am. These are both very popular with those members either wishing to improve their tennis skills, players who have only recently taken up the game or those that are coming back to the game after a long break away from playing tennis. They are both very friendly mixed ability sessions, and are well attended, come rain or shine. So, if you are new to the game or you were in the Brownies or Cubs the last time you played, then this might just be the place to start playing. It says ‘Rusty Rackets’ but ‘Bent and Mouldy Wooden Rackets’ are also welcome...
