LOCKDOWN – Club Closed

Dear Members, As you’ve no doubt heard, Boris Johnson has announced a return to full lockdown from midnight tonight. This means that we will have to close the Club and we are no longer allowed to play any tennis including all coaching (junior and adult).   We are obviously disappointed by this but understand the need for further restrictions.  We will continue to monitor developments and will reopen the Club as soon as possible.  As previously mentioned an adjustment to subs for 2021/22 will be made depending on how long the lockdown lasts. Please continue to take care and we look forward to seeing everyone soon. Your...

New Tier 4 Restrictions

As I’m sure you’ve all heard, following the Government announcement on Saturday 19th Dec, most of Surrey has been moved to Tier 4 from midnight tonight.  This means that, yet again, we need to change the ways that we can play tennis.  The good thing is that we don’t need to close the Club completely this time. From now on, and until further notice  . .  There will be no mix-ins  There will be no League matches We are allowed to play tennis with household members, people in our support bubbles or with one person from another household.  Any individual can use the practice wall. Please continue to book all tennis through the website, so we can track who’s been at the Club if we need to trace people. The committee would like to thank all members for their patience and for complying with the many different requirements since March.  We hope that despite the very difficult circumstances that everyone has a happy Christmas.   Let’s hope for a much better year in 2021. Keep safe everyone. Best wishes from your...
