New Mix In Session Planner

We are very pleased to announce that as from Tuesday 30th June, our Mix in sessions will resume.
As you know, in the past, these mix ins have been just ‘turn up and play’ sessions, but with the current restrictions and LTA guidelines, we can’t allow a totally unrestricted number of people to be at the club at any one time.

So, we are introducing a new mix in booking system. PLEASE DO NOT DESPAIR !! THIS ONE IS VERY EASY TO USE – No logging on to a website, no having to remember usernames or passwords, no having to select the right court, date or time and no forms to fill in. You just tick the mix in sessions you want to attend. 


The booking system will work like this :-

1. Every Sunday at 1pm you will receive an email from here – CDLTC WEEKLY SCHEDULER (

2. It will contain a blue button labelled ‘SESSION PLANNER’. If you want to attend any club mix in, in the coming week, you should click that button.
3. This will open your personal ‘WEEKLY SESSION PLANNER’. It will list all our mix ins for that week, and state the maximum number of members that can attend each session.
4. You just select the mix ins you plan to attend.
5. If a place is available, it will say ‘CONFIRMED’, but if the mix in is fully booked, it will say ‘STANDBY’
6. Registration will close for each mix in 2 hours before each session. If less than 4 have booked to play at any mix in they will be contacted before the mix in starts, to let them know, that too few have booked to play.
7. DO NOT delete your ‘SESSION PLANNER’ email, as you may need it later in the week, if you decide to cancel or add another booking.  
8. Your personal ‘WEEKLY SESSION PLANNER’ will last for 7 days, until you get a new one sent to you the following Sunday.

That’s all there is to it.

 If you are on STANDBY for any session, and someone decides later to cancel their reservation, then the first person on ‘STANDBY’ will receive an email telling them they are now ‘CONFIRMED’ and have a place booked at that mix in.

This Mix in booking system, has nothing to do with our Club Website Calendar Court Booking system, which you will continue to use to book private courts for friendlies and matches.

The Club Mix in Sessions, limited to 16 players (8 on Wednesdays) are as follows,  :-

TUESDAY – 6.30pm to 9.00pm – All adult playing members.  

WEDNESDAY – 6.30pm to 8.30pm – ‘New’ Practice Session Mix in for Adult Beginners/Improvers only.  
THURSDAY – 9.30am to 12 Noon – All adult playing members and Improvers.  
THURSDAY – 6.30pm to 9.00pm – All adult playing members.  
FRIDAY – 9.30am to 12 Noon – All adult playing members.  
SATURDAY – 1pm to 5pm – FULL members only.  
SUNDAY – 10am to 12 Noon – FULL members only.  

The club will provide 3 tubes of balls for the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mix ins and 3 tubes for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday sessions. Mix ins will use all 3 courts, except the Wednesday evening beginners / Improvers session, which will use just 2 courts.

We may have some teething problems (hopefully few) so please bear with us until everyone gets used to this system.
Any problems/concerns, please let me know. Or if you don’t want to play at any of our mix ins, let me know and I can remove your name from the system.
